We are Cain&Abel, a small family-owned distillery dedicated to creating premium spirits and liqueurs.
We believe in authenticity of approach, locally sourced ingredients and honest emotion. We remain deeply connected to the soil on which we were raised and through our products seek to celebrate its aromas, flavours and traditions.
We do not compromise in our work: everything is produced in small batches, fruit is carefully selected and only natural ingredients are used. Many of the aromatic herbs and botanicals are grown by us personally.
There are no artificial flavours or colourings in our spirits and liqueurs. We believe that truly exceptional products can only be created through natural ingredients, patience and knowledge.
We communicate openly and sincerely with our customers and are always happy to share the story behind the way our products are made.

One of a kind experience, especially if you decide to take a guided tour where one of the entrepreneur brothers takes you across the history and science behind distillery tradition in Istria. The setting itself is extremely comfortable and cozy. The brothers are friendly and really know how to take care of you and your taste buds. You will have a good time guaranteed!

I was wandering back to my holiday accommodation when I spotted the doorway to Cain & Abel and intrigue took over. The owner spent some time chatting and I had a brief look around. I was pleased to have tried a small sample of gin which was delicious and very much recommended. The museum looks beautifully set up and the secret garden a perfect place to enjoy their spirits.
